True to her western style, Ridgen paints an amazing image with a stunning horse, saddle, and scenery. This would look fantastic in your home or office! Cynthia Rigden grew up surrounded by horses and cattle on an 8,000-acre ranch that has been in her family since 1902. Her roots in Arizona and the West are deep. Yet, she doesn’t call herself a “western artist”, rather an artist who comes from the West.

A unique and rare example of a Native American (Navajo) ladies saddle from the late 1800s. How do we know it is a ladies saddle? Because of the saddle horn. Items such as a cradle board were hung on the saddle horn. Navajo men's saddles from this time period usually did not have a saddle horn as it would have been in the way when hunting or fighting. This saddle is handmade and retains most of its original form and decorations. The original hand-bent cedar wood stirrups are even there. A vintage Navajo saddle blanket is included with the saddle. The custom made stand can be included, but only if the buyer makes arrangements to pick it up, we will not ship the saddle stand.

This necklace features a lovely two wire crescent shaped naja highlighted with three carved bears resting in handmade sawtooth bezels. The naja is accented with hand stamped designs. Presented here for your consideration is an original oil painting by Charles Damrow (untitled) of a autumn landscape. Charles Damrow, Cowboy artist and painter of western Cowboy and Native American subject matter, established friendships with Natives, cowboy artists and Indian Traders of the Southwest. Damrow had associations and friendships with many notable westerners, including Olaf Wieghorst, Barry Goldwater, Peter McDonald and Bill McGee. His paintings are highly collectible. Presented for sale is this unique piece of art which is a father/son collaboration between James and Dee Flagg. The oil painting of General Grant was painted by James while the uniquely carved wood frame is by Dee Flagg. It is dated 1953 and there are only a few of these collaborations out there by this talented duo.

Offered here for your consideration is an original oil painting by Francis Beaugureau of a man, with arms crossed, wearing a hat. Francis lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, for 47 years (1954-2001), maintaining a studio on Chapparral Road. Beaugureau is known for a series of thirty paintings, named The Indian Wars in Arizona 1846-1886, for which he thoroughly researched the subject matter and produced one of the most historically accurate records of the state's history. Molesworth was an American furniture designer who was a significant figure in the creation of a distinctly Western style of furniture and accessories, using hides, horn and natural wood. He furnished Eisenhower’s den, the Rockefeller Ranch and the homes and retreats of several celebrities and captains of industry and commerce. Provenance: This item came to our seller through the estate of Eugene Thurston who was also an artist and a friend of Molesworth. It had been in the Thurston family (literally in the back yard) for many years until acquired by our seller, who was acquainted with the family.
